Spencer Leonard
Biography
Spencer grew up around the garages of Road Atlanta and VIR watching and studying his dad, Derek Leonard, race and compete. His passion for cars and racing developed even more at the BMW Performance Center. Eventually his childhood dreams of racing came to fruition with AER. He is in his fourth season with the team – loving every minute of it. He enjoys instructing for BMW and Doug Herbert's BRAKES. On non-race weekends you can find him at his alma mater in Clemson, SC, cheering on the Tigers.
